Lots of yellowing leaves

Hello Friends,

Here's the situation.

Female plant grown from bag seed in a PC grow box under 4x23W CFL bulbs, LSTd, been in 12/12 for about a month, on FoxFarms Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom, just half strength as it was just switched to that from some MG Tomato fert... Last friday was the first application of the FoxFarms nutes... Then yesterday it had all sorts of yellow leaves. the big older fan leaves.. a few were clipped but now more are turning and it's causing some concern. is it nitrogen deficient? I know it's normal for plants to start using up all the N from the leaves and turning them yellow later in flowering but I thought that was still a few weeks away.

The trichs haven't been checked yet, a 30x loupe is on the way.. it'll be here tomorrow. but it doesn't look like it's anywhere near ready to harvest.. getting there.. hairs are starting to turn red.. but still some time is needed.

Should some N be added to slow down the yellowing? Would it be bad to add a little half strength of the Tomato MG fert that I was using? I'm sure it's not optimal but the plant has been nice and healthy with that so far. could go full strength with the tiger bloom, that'd give it more N as well.

In the one pic of the bud closeup, the lighting was off on the camera, the hairs aren't as red as they are in the pic.. the yellowing leaves pic shows a better indicator of overall color.

i really wouldnt worry about it if its just the shade leaves or water leaves or what ever u want to call them. in my opinion the buds r taking all the nutes from that leaf

It's natural for some of the leaves to turn yellow and fall over during the end of flowering - the plant is just absorbing the N from the leaves. I have had a lot of leaves turn yellow and fall off by the end and I still got plenty of bud.

If you think it's still got quite a way to go then add a little N (some of ur veg nutes?) and wait a few days for some sign of improvement.

i agree with lordemo, i still give them little N too i stop feeding them, 10 days or so before i give them the chop, so yes add sum half strength Tomato MG.

keep it real.

its just sheding off its old leaves she looks great! those leaves are just using food to stay alive they dont get much light so she is shedding them for her buds =P shes pretty btw.

Thanks! I'll have my 30x loupe today so that'll give me a better indicator of how much longer it'll need. I'll look around for a soil PH test kit as well just to be on the safe side...

Thanks, keepitreal.. I think she's quite a beauty as well. She smells delicious, too!
