Lower Leaves Yellowing?

So like I said the lower leaves on my girls are yellowing. The plants are three weeks in, on a 20/4 light cycle, under a 125 watt fl. Started to feed them nutes after about week 1.5-2.

I've read this is happening because the light isnt getting through the higher foliage thus killing off the leaf. I also read this is sometimes caused by a nitrogen difficiency. So i amped up my nitrogen dose in my nutes to try and help. That was a week ago, not really sure if it did much. I have a picture here, if you guys could give me your input, it would be much appreciated.

What nutrient regiment and do you use a ph meter? What strength N did you give them as well as other solutions? Have a ppm meter? I see yellowing tips, are you overfeeding "N" maybe? If so could lock it out.

No i don't have a ph, or a ppm meter. For nutrient regiment im going 5ml flora micro, 10 ml flora gro, and 3 ml flora bloom.

lower leaves turning yellow = sulfur and iron deficient....

check ph level and stabalize for the the iron, and use some epsom salt for the sulfur...

why are you using the gro and bloom at the same time? sounds like your giving it flowering nutes in veg...!!?? that is no good my friend. go to the website that makes your nutes. follow the feeding schedule for each nute. that is very important. and i highly advise a nice ph meter. anything in the $80+ sometime si hear that is normal and leafs just turn yellow, fall off and die. but i have not much facts support that claim yet.

How do i stabilize the iron levels? I read an article specifically on iron deficiency and it seemed to hit the nail on the head. I know you said check ph levels, but I don't really want to drop 40-60$ on a ph meter for this specifically. Any easy solutions?

best way is to take your pH levels to 6.2 to 6.7 and your plant will start taking iron from your soil...

I have a feeding program sheet that was made by the company i bought my nutrients off of, and it does indeed say to include all three.

I realize i should spring for the ph meter, but is there any way to stabilize the iron levels asap? From the photo can you tell if the levels are too high or low? If so i could try to balance it out by other means.

Yes I agree
Xen.. I personally have used GHs 3 part chart as you are for a long time. The 5ML Grow, 10ML Micro, and 3 ML Bloom is what the chart wants, althought IMO twice as hot as it should. You absolutley use gh bloom during veg, its a 3 part mix. I hope you add micro first, stir, grow, stir, then bloom stir. This is important, without ph down I'm guessing your running a tad higher than 7 ph. Ebay has some good deals on cheap digital ph meters, this is also important, if your running 7.5+ ph you will have problems if this isn't already the problem. At the very least get a ph kit from the local hydro store ($12), they'll likely sell a kit with a little vials, a eye dropper solution, ph up, and ph down. Start there if money is tight, since with the nutes the water won't give you a proper reading seeing the water isn't clear with nutes, just start with you're water being in the 6.6-6.8 range, then add nutrients at half stregth (IMO), if full stregth like you just fed I'd go 7.0-7.2, for adding the nutrients will drop the ph full by about .4-.5, still without exact reading from a digital ph meter its a guess, which sucks... A PH meter isn't just for this solution its just as important as anything, this is a minimal item you need to acquire for success. GH 3 part if mixed correctly has all that is necessary, its proven and best nutrients IMO.
