Hydro pros - grow faster, but LR is already a fast grower even in soil
Cons- major pain in the ass with regular checks and you can fail and ruin the crop if you fuck up.
Soil cons- a little slower.
Pros- less work and almost foolproof for lowryder. You will have to wait about 1 more week than a hydro grow. Only have to water once every 3 days if you use 1.5 gallon pots. Less expensive- don't have to buy a ppm meter. Less headache.
Go soil with LR and you won't regret it. I tried Hydro and will never do it again as it was not worth the hassle and a pain in the ass. I had to check it every day and always worried about it dying. Soil is almost foolproof. The advantage of a slightly increased grow cycle is way offset by all the other stuff. Consider that LR are ready to harvest in soil after 8-9 weeks. You may get 8 weeks with hydro. Not worth the extra time involved if you ask me.
