many ideas or suggestions on how to start with where this plant is?

Went with what I could do best with what I have


Used plant ties and made rings to hold fan leaves down

You want to pull the main cola down so it's on similar level with lower shoots. Things to pay attention to:
- Make sure you support the lower stem
- Bend diagonally so the shoots at the bending direction have a chance to grow upwards.
- I highly recommend you use soft ties - easier and safer to work with.
