LST for first time grow?

I have ordered Chocolate Rain and Mad scientist from Sannies and this would be my first grow and I want to know if I can do LST on my first gorw itself or should I wait until I have a few grows under my belt?

It's easy. Give it a try.
Thanks, when I read about it it seemed like it was overwhelming. I mean we have to bend the main stem and keep on tying it down for ever new set of leaf and again gotta tie down all the branches that shoot up, I am just worried something would go wrong and I would end up killing my plants. It would really help if there was a proper video on the subject but I am unable to find one on Youtube.

I start as soon as I can bend the plant so the top goes past the rim of the planter, that way you're bending it before the stem hardens up. And I bend it hard, pretty much flat across the planter but not resting on the rim. After that, it's just a matter of keeping the top low so all of the side branches catch up and can form an even canopy.

It really is very easy. Give it a whirl.

LST is great for first timers...it gives you plenty to do with those itchy newbie fingers almost every day!
Seriously, 9/10 problems in newbie central are from peeps doing too much, with LST the gardener is occupied and gets to fuss as much as they wish. :bigjoint:
