This is my second grow first one I had no idea what I was doing and did everything wrong still ended up with some decent nugs but not much
On this one I’m doing 5 blue dream plants which are now 23 days old I have 2 600 watt leds full spectrum in a 4ftwx4ftdx6ftt with a 4 in exhaust and a 4 in intake my lights are on 18/6 I had a little lack of nitrogen so I started feeding with fish fertilizer that’s 5-1-1 my plants aren’t real tall but seem to be really full compared to my last grow they are on their 4th node so I decided to go ahead and tie them down my main question is am I doing it right I used metal plant hooks I’ll add pictures to show what I did any help would be greatly appreciated I really want these to fill up my space

I would definitely top or fimm before LST. Once they branch off you can tie it open. Their is so e good blogs on low stress training in this forum. Just search lst. I found some padded wire at the dollar store for cheap. 16.4 ft for 2.50. I was gonna say this is the dollar store not the 2.50 store but felt I was getting a good deal already

Most growers try to avoid having the plant touch the soil but you are definitely on the right track.

As mentioned above I always top or fim and then use lst. It can really create an even canopy for better yeilds. There is nothing wrong with implementing all the training techniques. Infact I plan on using monster cropping, super cropping, topping fimming and lst in my next grow

Thanks for all the help should I untie them and top them or leave them tied over when I top them I raised them up some so they are not touching the soil now

What they said. The soft squishy stuff...strip it back....solid wire inside. Pokes thru fabric.
Reusable.

Lots of ways this is just what worked for me. Having extra plants to experiment with is invaluable.
