Lst help!

I lst'd my plants about 9hrs ago and they've seemed to be doin fine so I suppose I did it correctly.I wanted to know if it was possible to TOP the new growth or maybe lst the new growth also. They are about 16 days old I just wanna make sure I'm doim everything correct! Also if there are any tips as far as MAXIMIZING GROW, PLEASE DO SHARE! I am trying to yield as much as I possibly can off of them!
Also I was still curious if they were INDICA OR SATIVA???
I've asked in previous post but there were no DEFINITIVE ANSWERS. I have (4) 100 watt cfl on them right now and they seem to be doing ok but ANY HELP WOULD NE APPRECIATED!!!

...I've lstd this one then topped half of it m fimmed the other half....its doing awesome.

The one in pic is unknown..saved a few seeds over time from those sacks u only find like one or two seeds in from some dank weed....so its a good strain just don't know what

I'd say you have a sativa-indica hybrid -- looks very similar to one I'm growing that's supposed to be 60/40. I'm following Uncle Ben's topping technique for four colas and then scrogging for what I'm thinking will be maximum yield. I have a height issue, so scrog makes sense for that, allowing me to veg for two months and flower for two months.

I was told my seeds were purple Kush(Indica). SUPPOSEDLY ordered from some site but I won't go into all that. Basically I was just trying to see if I did the LST right and maybe answer the question I often wonder about...IS IT INDICA OR SATIVA. But I guess I got my answer. Any more supper cropping techniques... PLEASE SHARE.
