So I have been away from my spot for 2 months and I threw out three small plants in the hopes that they would survive until I got back. I walked to my first bucket and nothing was left, so I accepted my fate and as I walked to the other two I was amazed to see them still alive and both female! These are inbred white widows from nirvana. Third generation from the original pack. Lucky me!

Thanks guys! They had a two week head start before I left for the summer. I've had so many plants die after I nutured them, so it's nice to have preparation and hard work pay off.
Soil mix is:
1/3 hyponex organic potting soil
1/3 peat
1/3 composted grass clippings/ local soil
I used half a bag of miracle grow perlite per 5 gallon bucket~I always have drainage problems, so this really helped.
They were fed every day with alaska fish fert for the second week.
I also added a cup of sunleaves bat guano or peruvian?~which ever one is mostly for nitrogen. And I plan on watering once a week with the phosphorus rich guano and molasses every other day. Just bought a new camera, so I can also keep you all visually updated!
Peace

Checked them today. One of them is losing its fan leaves, but other than that I can't complain. The other has twice as many bud sites, but looks to be a week behind in flowering.

So the last time I checked the two plants was on Sunday, but I went out tonight although it was raining. The one I took pictures of put on some weight! I'm getting pretty anxious, but the more I wait the better, as I always chop too early. I hope your growing seasons are going well.

Use a decent pocket microscope (60-100X, $12 at Radio Shack) to check the trichs and you won't have to worry about harvesting too early.
