Mag Deficiency?

Hello my girls are on week 4 veg and I've noticed this Browning of the leaf sides/ tips not like nutrient burn though I recently have a very small thrips issue and resolved it before it was really an issue with the use of a neem oil foliar spray
I haven't been home past days and a half and got back today to see that brown "spot" and also noticed one leaf cupping on my other plant I know I'm having a clawing issue which I believe was due to defiency of n but I don't believe that to be the reason any help would be awesome thanks

Hi Corenugzz,

I'd actually cut back a bit on your fertilizer.
Nitrogen toxicity causes claw, your leaves are quite dark green as well.

If it were deficient in Nitrogen, you'd see a general fade of the whole plant. If the deficiency continued on, you'd see yellowing of lower leaves.

Your plant doesn't look deficient at all.

If you're growing in soil, i'd just stick to water until it fixes itself.
If you're growing hydroponically, i'd cut your ppms slightly. Maybe by a third.

Doesn't look bad though, i think it should be fine.

The brown spot could be a few things. None of which i think are likely to be a problem.
If it starts to spread, make sure you say so.

I'm using ffof soil I transplanted in week 2 so I figured because I transplanted I would get to wait even longer before adding nutes but I went in my tent and notices that brown spot and the leaf curling down and "cupping" I just added nutes at 1/4 of what's recommended (I'm using fox farms soil trio) they look good just a little heavy fed but that brown spot scaring me haha maby it's from spilling nute water on it idk if I did but maby?

Agreed with Aussie. At this point, you'd be just as likely to cause an issue because there really isn't enough symptoms to profile, and you may end up treating the wrong issue. I'd hold off and see if the symptoms spread, and if they do, maybe we can get a better read from them :) Or it may turn out to be nothing to worry about, which I hope is the case! And yeah I could see that being from spilled nute water. I've always heard about fox farm being really hot in nutrients, so it probably just got fed a bit much nutrients :)
