Magnesium Deficiency?

I've got 2 seedlings out of 7 that are looking a little peeked. I'm thinking it's a Mag deficiency but thought I'd check before trying to correct. Other seedlings of both strains seems to be fine right now. I've just never had this happen so early.
(Note: Had a small spider mite problem that has been fixed. Some damage is still visible)

Stage: Day 14 since seeds popped
Strain 1: Marionberry Kush (TGA)
Strain 2: Blue Dream (HSO)
Medium: 2 parts Fox Farm Happy Frog, 1 part Coco Coir
Nutes: No Nutes
Lights: Indoor, under T5 fluoros

The only one that looks like mg def is the last one saying blue dream #1. The others look like nute burn or something else. The 2nd to last could be mg def. But, looks like the others that don't.

Do you get good drainage? The soil looks a little heavy, chunky and not as much perlite as I'd do.

There are 2 pics of each plant - first 2 are Marion, 2nd 2 are Blue Dream

I get pretty good drainage. Watered about 18 hours ago. Have been using FFHF cut with Coco for a lot of grows.

Did you transplant recently, or start those seeds in those pots? I would guess maybe a little overwatering cause the pot is a little big for those roots, if you started them there. If you just transplanted, still maybe same deal, but they'll probably grow out of it. Definitely could have mag issues with the coco in there.

Ill give you some information that saves me at times in coco.
Cal-mag def is either because of 2 things.
You didn't give any cal mag lol
or your PH is so low its blocking it out.
Happens to me sometimes when I dont check my runoff.
Might want to do that first.

Transplanted a week ago from solo cups and a 50% FFHF/50% coco. They were stretching really, really badly, but were perfectly healthy. New mix is 66% FFHF/33% coco. Adjusted the lights for the new pots. They really took off with good growth. Maybe I transplanted them too soon and the soil is too hot?

Wouldn't be surprised if the coco is causing some issues. Happy frog should be fine on ferts especially since you cut it with coco. Too much water can drop the ph and lock out elements or starve the roots of oxygen which is why I was asking about your watering. To me, you took an ok soil and added coco which holds water really well, combine that with possibly not waiting long enough between waterings and you could get plants that look similar to yours. I haven't used coco but see cal/mag issues alot with people that are growing in coco and not adding the minerals back in. Easiest to let it dry out a little more and see if that helps, should notice within a week for sure, unless you think your watering is fine at that point get some cal/mag or just epsom and see what she does. You use distilled water?

Thanks Calico. I honestly don't think it's an over-watering issue. I've got a few years of growing under my belt and hope I've at least got watering down by now ;). I use tap water that I let sit for 48 hours.

For veg I normally use General Organics CalMag & Grow, Silcon, and a variety of AACTs. So I have nutes on hand. I've just never had a plant need nutes this early. I'm going to give her another day or so. Every new strain has its quirks. First time with both Marionberry and Blue D.

make sure your soil is being watered throughly too... i was using a year old bag of FFOF and the soil became Hydrophobic and that fucked with the ph alot

I think it looks like K def. There's only two leaves in that last photo that look like mg def. You said you use silica. That usually adds K. Could it be K toxicity?

UPDATE
Well, little Blue Dream continued to get worse. Tips of her leaves started to crisp up so I'm pretty sure that the transplant into a higher proportion of FFHF was just too hot.

I flushed her last night and new growth is looking pretty good. Although, this has stunted her a bit. (See pic 4 of Blue Dream #1 next to Blue Dream #2.)
