Magnetic Ballast

i have a magnetic ballast for my 1000watt hps, and was wondering how much heat does it emit compared to a digi ballast?
and if people still use magnetic ballast?

Mine is magnetic, Heat is manageable.

Likewise. Have used nothing but magnetics since 1989 and will continue to do so.
