Hi Peeps, I've been using general hydroponics flora for years with good luck, but Lately the local grow store has went bat shit crazy on there prices, they have fucked me so hard over the passed few months I don't even make noise anymore when I fart.
There the only grow store in 400 miles from were I live so I was wondering if there was a dry nutrient line I could order bye mail that would work good with coco?

Any help + Rep

Maxigrow/maxibloom works good with coco. When they first came out with that stuff, I was pretty scepticle. Well, i've gone to this, gone to that, back to maxi many times, it never has let me down. And it's def cheaper than liquid ferts. 1tsp per gallon is the maximum i've ever needed. 1/2 tsp per gallon calmag with ro water.

If you want to make the dry salts even easier to work with, you can make base solutions with empty 1L water bottles and fill them with 1-2 mole of a salt depending on how soluble it is, then fill the rest with distilled/RO water.

Example, to get a 2 Molar solution of KNO3, add 2 moles worth (202g) of dry KNO3 to the empty 1L bottle and fill the rest with distilled water. You now have a solution of 2M KNO3. Congrats! You just made your first base solution!! The KNO3 solution is analogous to the 3 part's "grow" bottle. Now if you want to feed it 1g of KNO3, you can feed it 1/0.202 mL or 4.95mL of the 2M solution.

KH2PO4 is a lot less soluble so I make a 1M base solution out of it. It has a molar mass of 136g so add 136g to a 1L bottle and fill the rest with water..

For certain salts like MgSO4*7H2O, you have to include the value of those 7 hydrates in any calculations.
