Some auto seeds to play around with.
I only have room for 24 plants in my 24' by 64' greenhouse, below are some of the seeds we'll be using. The rest will be starters for fellow growers.
Outdoor order #1
Outdoor order #2
Outdoor order #3
Outdoor order #4, along with a few for indoors.
The frame was all cut from 2" by 4" by 16' pressure treated. I bought it all as one order so my local lumber company cut me a discount.
All together the frame and fencing was $2,000. The 6 mil plastic was another $200. The plastic didn't survive the winter, this year we'll be using 6 mil greenhouse film.
We weren't sure how well the frame would hold up to the high winds on the side of the mountain so we had thrown a few extra braces in during flowering last fall. (Just didn't want to see it crush the plants) after seeing the winds up here this winter I know I can take those scabed on braces out and the frame will take it.
So like I said the plastic got tore up pretty bad during a couple high wind storms we had in February. Up to that point it had held up well even to the snow load.
(The cats like to go up on the ridge to bask in the sun and soak up the view)
The excavator is just about ready to be fired up so I can clear all the snow out from around the greenhouse. Our road is in desperate need of repair from mud season as well. I've changed all the fuel filters and top off all the fluids. Just waiting on the battery to finish being charged.
Today we started 5 more G13 Blueberry Gum and 5 more Sugar Black Rose.
Also 6 Ultimate Purple, 5 Dinafem Blue Cheese, 3 710 Cheese, 3 High Priority, and 2 Green Poison.
Total of 55 seeds so far. With 25 more seeds that we have to plant as soon as they get here.
Of which I'll pick my 30. The rest will be (given...lol) to other patients that grow outdoors.
So I got the rest of my seeds yesterday and now have them all germinating. I actually have a bunch popping up all ready.
Yesterday I also started stripping off all the old plastic. Opened the door to the greenhouse and remembered just how much I dislike trimming. I actually left a bunch of popcorn bud to rot on the vine.. lol
I know, I know.... Very wasteful. We trimmed for ever and we were just over it. Already had a ton of popcorn and sugar trim. So there it still sits.
