Mainlining and space

Hello RIU!

I'll be short and to the point...is it doable to grow one short, mainlined plant with 4 colas (topped twice) in one square foot? Would a 4 colas mainlined plant need more space than that? If yes, I'd appreciate a step-by-step short guide on how, like when to do the 1st and 2nd topping and all the details needed to achieve that.

So I’m super new to mainlining but I can offer some help. I top at the 4th node. So I let it get to the 6th then cut it down to the 4th. I let those two grow out one node and top again. So that’s your 4. Im going to 16. If you want to stop at 4 I guess you would have to flip after a few days. Someone can chime in on when to flip that would be great.
 
As well I’m brand new and growing and mainlining one plant on my first grow. I have a thread on my own attempt at mainlining. I topped her at the earliest every time starting with the third node. She is pretty stunted from the early interventions so I would be surprised if she took up more than a 2x2 space having the 6 nodes. Pics are both today.

I have made lots of mistakes in my learning process and just self control. When I was at 4 I accidentally cut off all bud sites. The two sides yin-yanged each other having two and one sided new growth sites after the maiming so I’m going with it...

I cut a growth tip off on one of mine, 15 top lol.. it didn’t make a difference in the end, plants out of control regardless. :lol:

It happens man it happens. I just mainlined one and broke one of the two mains. So I’m back to one and letting it go. I had flip the whole tent and couldn’t wait on the one
