Making a greenhouse?

Would there be any benefit to making some type of a greenhouse for plants to grow in? For example, getting a large plastic tote and sealing the cover on them when its dark time? Perhaps putting some fruit in there with them to trap ethalene gases....?

no one can see ur plants. um idk to much about green houses to help u out but that sounds like it would make sense. i know what ur talking about with the gas to influences plants to be female(banana religion) i have heard about that but im not all sure if it really works im actually thinking of doing this for my next grow to see if it works
