Making BHO for the first time...indoors possibly?

Before you rage at me for thinking about making BHO indoors (for the first time too), just hear me out. I understand that it is extremely flammable and pools easily. Unfortunately though I live in a dorm in a city and I can't really do this outside. I'm in a small double in a 6-person suite on the 4th floor and there's a fan in the only window in the room and another fan in the back corner facing it. The ventilation is pretty decent. If I decide to try this in my room I'm obviously going to be very, very, very careful. If I do the following do you think I'll be alright?

  • Wear goggles/gloves
  • Unplug/turn everything off (including lights)
  • Wear boxers, or just do it naked
  • Keep door closed/toweled (maybe even taped?)
  • Let the room air out for like an hour after?
  • Only allow myself and my roommate in the room while this is going on

Once again, I understand this is dangerous and probably stupid, but If I am extremely careful should I be fine?
Thanks

I wouldn't reccomend it but, if you do, make sure you video tape it, you might make it onto Tosh.O:)

Butane evaporates fairly quickly..... a couple of hours or so. You'd spend that much time in the ER. I"d choose the woods. No flame. :fire:

I thought it takes a short amount of time to evaporate out of the BHO while sitting in boiling water?
Anyways, we decided we're doing it on our friend's deck. Thanks for convincing me not to be an idiot.
