I'll be watching as well. I got one Malawi Fem I'll be popping in the future. I'm very curious to see how you do yours. What's the plan for your grow?

Don't hold back on Ace Malawi man, I think it's going to be some of the strongest stuff I've smoked when I grow this outside(we have volcanic soil). My plan for the grow is to grow the malawis up enough to take cuttings for outdoors and indoors under 2x 600 hps and a 180w led, same with the taskenti. I've ordered colloidial silver for fem seeds and will cross a malawi onto a taskenti.

Very cool.
I like the FEM plan. I wont be doing any until I test some more of my seeds, but that is in the plans for later on. Seems really worth it even if you spend the money to buy the CS spray.

The Malawi really does seem like a good one. Maybe I'll do the CS with mine after watching how yours turns out. I will likely do mine indoors with a Hempy grow. At least that way I can be sure of getting a good result. I would love to go for the yield of an outdoor grow but I don't think my season is long enough to really do it properly. At least not unless I use the greenhouse. I could do that to get 6 months of grow time. But that is pushing it as far as I could go and it may not do well anyway. A little too tropical for around here. I am in the far North.

Yeah man, I got a 16oz bottle on amazon for $20. 50ppm too.

If I get a male and female, il do a regular and fem seed run. I think you will get a good result with any system, as long as it has a lot of growing space you could get monsterous yields.
BC can only grow til end of september right? It would be difficult growing til november. I reckon you could grow the taskenti outside though.

Sick as bro, dont know how i missed this thread!

I ended up looking into some sativas for my collection and ended up getting some regular panama and some golden tiger :D hanging to try them out now after seeing your malawi ;)

Yeah brother, you guys know what's up when buying genetics. I have a regular pack of panama also and a fem pack of Orient Express for high indoor yields.

I'm real glad you ended up getting the panama bro, the zamaldelica fem version is too intense apparently because it's crossed onto a pure Killer Malawi and the ace version is 75% killer Malawi crossed with other malawi males for taste because the killer mother had a rude taste apparently.

I'm going to cross the Taskenti onto a Pakistani Chitral Kush if it's a coloured pheno.

You got it CK. End of May to end of September. That is it. Any more than that requires a greenhouse or advanced techniques.

I didn't realize the Ace could be that strong. Nice. I got it because of a couple good reviews. Good choice it seems. I'm looking forward to the Golden Tiger as well.

Growing outdoors in BC sounds pretty hard out, bears, wolves etc. What do your average high at the end of september? 18-20 degrees?.

Yeah it's the Zamal that makes the wire frame electric high and the Malawi that makes the devastation, one grower at ICmag said he doesn't even smoke it because of the intensity of the high.
Those kind of highs are not for everyone lol. I liked the look of Malawi because people say it starts off like a classic Malawi sativa high but then crashes at the end putting you to sleep, perfect!.

A 11-14 week Malawi almost seems to good to be true.

Hell yeah guys, I'm definitely lookong forward to growing these babies out. Cheers for the great suggestions too Kiwi, I wouldn't have looked at ACE if it wasnt for you :)
They all just sound perfect as sativas!!

Your Taskenti looks really cool too kiwi and the cross you want to do sounds like it will work real well :)

Yeah man, the panama is a sativa hashplant for sure. That's all right mate, I always suggest Ace and Cannabiogen to growers that respect the landrace.
Destoyer from Cannabiogen looks like an intense old school sativa, definitely on my to grow list.

I want to bring the sativa genetics back to New Zealand, that's what made our outdoor weed well known, now it's bullshit watered down indica dominant hybrids with nearly no trimmming.

One day I'm going to make thousands of Malawi seeds and spread them through the city for a reply to prohibition lol, It'd be pretty funny.

Yeah that destroyer looks insane, may end up getting a few of them too lol.
Same deal with weed here, no one takes the time to actually care for their plants, its all about the money and its shit. I so rather my own ha ha. Bring back the sativa landraces i say!

Ha ha man that would be funny, if i ever hear of weed growing rampant in NZ streets i'll laugh and know it was you ha ha

Mo you are so right. When you focus on making money from something like this you end up producing mediocre crap. A shame.

CK, my province is a really big place with a huge amount of variation in weather. Similar to NZ in that way. End of September there are places with temps in the 20+ range like the Okanagan, 15-20 in many places along the coast. Where I am it is more in the 10-15 Celsius range. At night it is in the 0-8 range. We can get hard frost during September and usually we have one or two snowfalls before the end of October. Some years the snow comes and stays before November. You just can't count on the weather to hold out. You might get lucky but you also might get nailed with -2 second week of September. That is a major part of why I am having a hard time deciding what I will be growing outside. I'll be starting them early using multiple different techniques to lengthen the growing season. But once they are 2m tall it becomes almost impossible to protect them from a hard frost and strong winds. I'll do a couple Northern Light Auto FEM to ensure a small harvest in the summer, but the rest...???

Malawi will likely be an indoor grow. I might do the Golden Tiger in the greenhouse to try and get a good result, but I want to be able to get the most I can from the Malawi. If I do an indoor 4 gallon Hempy, flipped to 12/12 early, then flowered as long as needed... Colloidal Silver spray a branch...or cross it with my White Widow??? Shit this is a hard one!

CK you have some serious potential with the Malawi and your climate. Take advantage of it.

Wow damn man you do have some difficult conditions to factor in hey, here i am pissed off at getting a few frosts still now and you seem to get them pretty late too!

Im keen to see how you guys both go, sounds like you know exactly what to do to bring out their potential's :D

I have been focusing on finding really good Sativas to grow, but looking over the Cannbiogen site brought me to their Pakistan Chitral Kush. That is a pretty looking plant. Wow!!

They have some nice stuff on that site!

I like the sounds of the Mangobiche as well, but the possible 24 weeks of flower is a little daunting. I don't know if I could wait that long. Especially if I tried to do a proper Veg. Something to think about I guess.

I have a Taskenti seed and am excited to see how yours turns out, I may sprout mine soon. In the meantime I am 7 weeks into flower with my ACE Orient Express. It has such a small stature one of the shortest I have ever grown but slow flowering sativa buds with a sweet and slightly spicy smell.
