Male Or Female? First Plants

Ok so today i was doing some pruning and was looking around the plants and notices what look to be pistols? these are my first set of plants so, can anyone tell me if they are and these are early stage female plants? or are they just leaves and its to early? the moshi plant in the pics is 8 weeks old, and the haboob is 6 weeks, any help is much appreciated! thanks

the pics didnt show but its certainly possible, when a plant is sexually mature it will begin alternating nodes and show preflowers. are they alternating nodes yet?

can't tell from the pics....plants can show sex even during veg, once they are mature.... anywhere from 4 weeks on they can show pre-flowers.

think what your seeing is new growth...I call it secondary growth, new shoots/branches developing...be patient and they will eventually show.peace

Suggestion for you my friend. Do some reading and studying of the stickies on this forum. You will learn more about cannabis growing than you ever thought possible. Including the fact that it is pretty darn difficult to sex a plant before flowering is induced. Yes there are pre-flowering detection methods. But I don't trust anything until I go 12/12. And even then they can go hermie if they get fucked with. Anyway, Best of luck on the grow! +rep for taking the leap into farming!

I would switch to 12/12 if they are 6 and 8 weeks old, wait a week or 10 days after 12/12 and you will just know for sure. You can mistake the beautiful pistils.

There between 6-8 weeks, but we were going to wait till week 10 to switch to 12/12, i was just curious because i no alot of the under growth and new shoots didnt look like the side ones, that's why i asked, i inspected the pistol looking ones for a while to see if they were splitting into leaves, i have read alot and no its hard for the pre flower, but anything can happen, thought i would ask, thanks for all the help!

Ya bro as soon as you see those first white hairs your won't stop smiling till the end. It will be like "Moshi are you in there starin at the plants again or still"...lol :weed:
