I honestly wasn't trying to be a smartass. I'm just saying we could have saved you some time growing that. No offense man. We were all new at some point.
This site has helped me learn way more than I can in any book. I would've chopped early 3 years ago when I joined if it wasn't for @Thundercat and the Rollitup gang.

-Male - IMHO, early on looks like little striped melons in the crotch of the upper branches. Bunches of melons form, then flower & spill pollen.
-Female - spade shaped early on, Pistils (white hairs) sprout.
-Hermaphrodite (Genetic) - Pistils & balls - a full set of both parts.
-Hermaphrodite (Stress / other) - Bananas in the buds
Also - you really can't avoid ball jokes on a male / female thread - you just can't...
