male or female?

i am growing a few different variety of plants and one of them is doing fairly well its about 1 3/4 feet tall on its 2months of growing. i haven't used any nutrients yet just because cant afford it. but have very good potting soil.
The problem is i am not sure if it is male or female, it looks like it may be growing balls but i am not extremely sure, i can get pictures up 2nite, but if anyone has advice on how to know for sure if its balls growing or not id appreciate it.

like 3days ago it was only a foot tall in the past 3 days it srpouted up, i cnt seem to find those pics u mentioned either
