Yea that point is throwing me offIf it was me I'd wait a few more days... but that really does look like a boy... It's just a little long looking, but definitely think you would see a little hair by now.
Yeah, but honestly it's pretty big now, and it has that little "stem" bit it looks like connecting it to the main stem. And it's pretty big too. I still will wait till I see a couple of them start to stack together though to confirm, and that's still way early to worry about pollen leaks...Yea that point is throwing me off
DOn't make him paranoid for no reason, he has weeks before this plant will start to drop pollen.
Yeah the boys I've grown out longer always look more densely stacked than that photo...DOn't make him paranoid for no reason, he has weeks before this plant will start to drop pollen.
Everyone needs to stop being afraid of male plants. My first little floro grow back in 2005 I intentionally left the males so I could start to learn the full life cycle of these plants and begin to understand them better.
Now I wouldn't recommend that to anyone else at this point. At least not leaving all of them lol. But it was a good learning experience. When I started I had seen pictures of males and females, but never in person. So when the plants started showing sex I was just as lost as you are now. I didn't know what I was looking for, until I watched the plants and learned what was what. It takes weeks for these transformations to happen, and you have plenty of time to remove males to prevent pollination.
