Marijuana growing with other plants

I was curious as to whether or not you can grow marijuana with other plants, whether it be in the same pot or same garden. Do other plants choke the growth of the marijuana or are they social with other species?

man i dont think it'd be a problem. i wouldnt share a container with somethin, but i cant see why you couldn't grow them in the same garden. shit i have tomatoes cucumbers and pumpkins all put into one little garden.

when i was in amsterdam every grow room i seen like at sensi seeds and the weed museum had other types of plants in the same room. i wonder if they were to aid the grow in some way??
