marijuana seeds and hemp seeds

Are they the same? The problem with surfing the net is you get to much info now i'm confused. Some body answer me plan and simple.
I get that they are cousins but can i use my weed seeds for everything that they're saying hemp seeds are used for.

they are fundamentally the same species, but with a difference
hemp seeds will grow a marijuana with virtually no thc
hemp seeds offered for sale on the internet are normally sterilized, so they will not even sprout

No. It simply has nothing in it to get you high. It's not good for smoking at all. Just rope, clothing, paper etc. Don't buy it for any reason. It's useless to a pothead.

Yeh,hemp seed is just a other name for marijuana seeds.But you can't grow those kind,cause they roast them ,or remove the shell from them, etc ...I think they put hemp seed in bird food,I think you might be able to grow those seeds..
