10 days in flower 12/12
Still learning how to get the best pics out of this old camera.

I keep things very basic, use some cheap dry plant food from my local garden center and mix it up in the soil, top dress a few times.
don't monitor the EC level or PH, plants don't seem to mind.

Update, 3 weeks in flower 12/12
The only problems I can see at this stage is the edges of the fan leaves are turned up. (you can see this on the last picture) flower room is a little hot, between 28 - 35c lights on.

Many of the taller shoots are praying because the light is too close, don't think there going to burn the shoots but its hard to tell, so I will keep a close eye on them, lifting the light will give the lower shoots less light so I will leave them for now, if there was a few taller shoots I would cut them down even with the other shoots as top 12" of the canopy is where your going to pull most the weight.

They started to drink more yesterday (soil dryed out in 24 hours)and the fan leaves where starting to droop, only slightly but enough to know the roots are not getting all the food they need, so I gave them a strong top dress, looking more perky and healthy today(24 hours later).

Its a good picture, leaves look very dark so I guess the smoke was a little harsh but overall you have one single large cola.

Here mine from about 7 years ago under a single 600w HPS, its not the size of a single cola that matters but the amount of colas.havest.jpg

The real test is to see how long you can keep the pistils white, when you get a few brown/red, you have messed something up, (should happen when your ripening the buds off) see how long you can keep the leaves green and healthy, no reason for nute burn(burnt tips means burnt roots and and a reduction in crop size)

You can see a level canopy of 9 shoots, the canopy size of this single plant is 2ft x 2ft each shoot could weigh up to 1 oz.

I am using two 600w hps, there very cheap to buy and I reuse 60% of my soil, I use plant food from the local garden center, I don't use a PH meter or EC meter, I keep everything very cheap and basic.

You can get amazing results without spending £1000's on your flower room but it takes years of experience to learn how.
