Anyone here grows with that light? I'm about to make a large purchase and looking at this light. The biggest thing bugging me is that they don't use LM301b/h diodes.

i wouldnt fuck with mars on a large scale like that. too many accounts of shoddy gear and poor customer service
if you want to cut costs without cutting corners on your lights, go with meiju or kingbrite

Mars has more quality issues than Meijiu? I would've thought the other way around since Mars sells a lot more units

not in my experience. ive been running meiju lights for a while now (30 f8 bar fixtures + a few board fixtures), no issues whatsoever. shipping time sucks, but thats the trade off when dealing direct with china

Have you considered going straight to a wholesaler on soothe like the HydroFarm PhotoBio LEd's? Hard to believe you can get close enough on pricing these days with a more reputable company :peace:
 
I’m currently setting up a tent with that light.

please check my sticky thread.No plants under it yet but stay tuned. Soil is cooking and should have clones in tent with a couple weeks.
