Marsh Area for first grow?

Hey so I am looking into planting some seeds into containers in a marshy area. The temperature here in the summer can get into the 100's so I am hoping the micro climate can keep them cool while allowing them enough sun. Sound good to everybody? Help is greatly appreciated.

Make sure to plant them somewhere that doesn't catch the midday sun and they should be ok
