Master grower couple on our way to Maine & need new friends

Howdy all!

So in Oct last year we were hit head on in the Rocky Mnts of Colorado, broke my back, put us out of things for a while and we came to FL to heal up as shivering with broken vertebrae REALLY hurts! lol

That said, we're healed up enough to take our settlement $ and get the hell out of this sauna they call FL and back to a state with 4 seasons and grow friendly laws.

I'm a master grower with over 20yrs experience, troubleshooter, and grow room designer who has tested over 200 strains from seeds / cloning to a finished product. I'm well versed in what strains give what benefits, and my wife's edibles are 2cd to none and XXX powerful! I've built pro rooms from one light to far more than I'll admit to for people. I'm also a retired/disabled US Marine infantryman and Professional poker dealer.

We're making our plans to move to Maine and thought it would be a great idea to make new friends there who could help us get into the swing of things in Maine to the mutual benefit of all. My wife and I are disabled in one form or another and what that means is we're available full time to set up / fix up / run a grow room or grow rooms when we're not looking for an awesome place to go fishing & hunting with our Labrador! No grow room issue we can't fix from you not having the time to do what needs doing to those nasty russet mites.

We're awaiting the rest of our settlements from this car accident out in Colorado where we used to live and are hoping to find some place we can live cheap and grow while we wait. that will allow us to actually visit potential properties instead of just looking at pictures on the internet.

Be it a private person or a dispensary who needs a Master grower, Maybe I'm the man you're looking for to end your MMJ issues. please contact me. GROW420BUDDY at Yahoo

Thanks for your time,
Grow Buddy

If Maine is like the rest don't expect open arms from the present cannabis community. I'm in Alaska and have years of living in Colorado and Washington.

Not trying to bum you or head you off but to give you a head's up. Advise no cross words with those yahoos. Good luck.

yeah, i'd be very cautious moving anywhere that's recently legalized. the events on the west coast have made many of them unfriendly to new competition. many of the local established growers are out of business in a year from all the people who came out, grew pounds of shit, and flooded the market. if and when we legalize here, i'm planning on being downright hostile to anyone moving here to grow

Thank you for the heads up! Yeah, that's Colorado too. the guy who hit us head on was a local younger man with delusions of granduer and couldn't bring in a decent crop to save his life. saw us as competition since we freely shared and gave herb away and began stalking us after that. It didn't work out well for him tangling with my lawyers.
I don't want to get rich, once we purchase a cheap place out in the country its just for personal use and we'll live off of my disability and whatever consulting I do for other growers. I'd be happy to put some local on the right track to be capable of doing whatever they wanted. I'm retired from everything and just can't get the F outta FL fast enough. Rain every day, Tarzan like heat and humidity, and the fishing sucks around here. lol

Just move their with your mind open and mouth closed. Any mention of advanced growing skills will earn you immediate enmity. Pot is just a silly hobby for you. Then prove it your experience and they'll sing praises. So long as they're the ones doing the proclaiming.

I appreciate that accurate advice! That's always the way. Most would be growers have more pride than experience and resent anyone offering help from a position of lots of experience. I feel that's most people biggest hurdle when working on their grow skills, Pride. If Rosenthal or Cervantez showed up to offer advice most growers would proclaim how well they're doing and refuse any assistance. Is pride their goal or is having the best grown herb possible their goal?? I'm looking for that new friend that knows enough to know he / she needs a hand of some sort so I can get the hell outta FL faster. If I must wait until the rest of the settlement $ comes in its likely no one will know I've hung up my lights again and that would be a shame since I have ridiculous experience to pass along to the right person / people. If you look at the thank you credits section in the front of Jorge Cervantez' bible you'll see my name listed among them.
I'm more interested in growing my own food / animals / herb in a private setting than making $, but i'm more than willing to share what I know with someone local who needs / wants the help. They can claim the praise if they like and I'll take my share back to the house and be anonymously stoned while I feed my GMO free chickens and ducks. The only hint that I grow once I arrive is that when it comes time for a smoke break with people at a bar I'll always have plenty to share for free and people will wonder where the top shelf herb came from so they could maybe get more. I'd love to be able to direct them to the person who helped me get to Maine faster. then we'll F off back to our place in the woods. lol

the last thing we need here is another growerLOL just kidding my advice stay away from the coast, sw foothills r about the best area to grow any thing, settle in meet some locals, if ya grow the killer an go to a few shows easy to meet folk.an we got cheap cheap land miles of it welcome:bigjoint:

lol the true locals here r the inbred clans
have you been to central FL where the family trees are telephone poles? ie no branches apparently. lol True locals know the best places to fish and drink and I always fit in well with them. A lot of folks in CO miss me cuz if I'm around everyone gets high as a kite and has fun. Thanks all for advice and kind or brutally honest words. I plan on being an asset to the community, not in competition with it. If you want to make a million bucks that's cool, I'll help you accomplish it. I just wanna F off to my cheap little home with a few acres and disappear after the party. Grow my own food / meat / herbs, sell some chicken eggs maybe.. make some venison jerky.. raise some nice Labrador retrievers.
I just know someone up there would kill to have their own grower to ensure success for whatever reason. honestly most good growers don't have time to do everything it takes for super success because they have jobs / families / lives. Growing top shelf stuff is pretty much a full time job itself.

Took the words outta my mouth. The other area that you really would fit in is in is the mid coast area west of Belfast

There is a huge organic farming culture and young folks are reopening the postage stamp farms that have existing barns and outbuildings, and land is relatively cheap. That bunch of hippies runs all the way up to the hills where Thumper is.
There are Harvest Fests, MOGFA(MEorganic Farmers) events and lots of local farm markets that that they all network at.
The Amish are moving in too, as well as in Aroostook County
Wild Folks Farm in Benton is a cool hippie farm for example, check it out online. (rice and hemp)
There is also a huge onshore freshwater salmon facility being built by Nowegians that is going to partner with locals and going for sustainable ag... let's start exports to Norway.:leaf:

Work in ops is more available in Southern Me, thats where the big 200,000 sq ft grow condos are due to empty warehouses being available.
Having a "G-damn Marine" at a grow would be a big plus if I was running it, they are kind of known for following orders. Especially when it involves keeping people in line. It's kind of their special quality

The Marines instilled that in me for sure. Attention to details, pride in a not slacking off when a sweet bumper crop is more rewarding. It's also a plus for a private grow as nobody will choose a packing Marine to steal from if there's softer targets in the area. 24hr surveillance with a link to your smart phone lets you know who did it even if you're not around when it happened. Also having an op that doesn't look like an op is key to safety. Old school.. they can't take what they don't know about.

NH is scaling up in anticipation, I see the the tells at the little retirement farms the boomers are fixing up. They could use a consultant to hide it better, but I don't think anyone cares anymore.
They might be legal too by the time you move.
Even the most ardent opponent in the NH Senate has given up. . We're surrounded now, what's the point! "

Oh, yea.. the hunting and fishing sucks in Southern Maine, compared to just about everywhere else in the state.
Unless you want turkeys, we got turkeys
