Master x Bubba Kush Strain review? I need imput for my new medical indoor hydro grow

I grew white widow successfully outdoors and weve done OG Kush indoors with soil. now im moving to a new location and investin $15k into a hydro table sealed c02 system and the strain is just as important to me as my equipment. ive been askin around gettin feedback from other clinic vendors here in socal and talkin with sum managers at the co-ops but i get mixed reviews on what strain to go with. i was considering doin a multiple strain grow but mite be too complicated for my first hydro grow with issues regarding feedings height and flower time etc. so id like to stick with just one strain. jackmayoffer had recommended a couple diff strains that seem to b rare and yield well indoors with his hydro setup so if u guys could give me ur imput of wat u know or have heard about these strains id appreciate it and rep for good advice;

im considering the following strains but open to other options.

Master x Bubba kush
Casey Jones
Blue Dream
Trainwreck
Strawberry bubba
SFV OG

Trainwreck and SFV OG Kush are old time (relatively) like your WW. Both are good strains though. THe SFV OG is the standard for Kushes so it is a good one to do. Green crack is another good strain to grow. I would just grab any ol cutting of those listed and crank away. It will take you a few grows to get your system dialed in and then you can dial in strains. They are all different.

What kind of hydro are you going to do? Some are easier than others.

Hey boomer...

I am growing Casey Jones right now... about 3.5 weeks into 12/12.

This plant looks like a seriously big yeilder. I know that isn't the best info, but it's what I got.

I'm going to grow Blue Dream next round.

And I would Absolutely only use one strain to start on hydro. A bit of a bummer not to harvest multiple strans, but soooooooo worth the work and stress you save through out the whole grow.

Good luck with the choices.

I say run Blue Dream - yield is super impressive and the smoke is absolutely amazing -- switch it up!

That's good advice boomer. Until you get the system dialed in just do one strain. In fact until you get the strain dialed in just do one then switch. Just makes it easier when things go wrong or array.

thanks guys ya im diggin the blue dream but my other partner that works for greencoast hydro has that strain goin and were tryin not to grow the same strains since if we opena dispensery soon we need a variety. im thinkin either casey jones like hes said ive heard its a huge yielder (jackmayoffer= 3-4lbs/1000w lamp with co2 im sure) so well see but ya with hydro i was planning on startin with one strain to keep it simple and not get over my head.

the system is a drip to waste system on a 3x3 table with 1000watters and co2 generator chill king chiller and ice boxes. but the $15k setup is makin me rethink everything if i should go for the ferrari first or start with a honda and work up haha. well see im still weighin my options. no opinions on the master x bubba kush strain? maybe ill have to get my hands on sum blue dream and sample it to see wat i think maybe its a strain i should just grow anyways.

Hey bro... I feel like getting the Honda first will let you learn how to drive a lot easier than the ferarri.

But there are two reason to get the ferrari first. One is that you would save money... not having to buy two cars (setups), but it doesn't exactly seem like you are breaking your back to save every penny. The other reason is you might be a Natural. If that's the case you'd just be wasting time on the Honda.

I'd definitely try the Blue Dream out before making any decisions. If you like it as much as I do the choice will be easy.

But if you guys have plans for a dispensary, more strains would be good. I love the vision you have... most of us are thinking about 400w vs 600w... you and your bud are thinking of opening your own co-op.... fucking Badass.

I've never seen anyone grow, nor have I even smoked the Master x Bubba. It sounds like fun. :bigjoint:

Hey Boomer, 3-4 pounds per 1000w? That sounds kinda unrealistic. 2 is an amazing goal with a 1000w lamp, in my opinion.

Also, why run 3x3 tables with 1000w lamps? I would suggest 4x4 trays as you'll have 12 extra sq ft to place plants and potential buds in..one again just my opinion.

Master x Bubba sounds amazing but ive never seen it grown out. Obviously Master and Bubba are both killer so i can only imagine how well it would turn out.

Agree with Bterz on the 3-4 lbs off a 1000W. A better measure would be g/W. I also agree on 4 x 4 tables for each 1000Wer. If you have more than one table do different strains in each table and see how they do. Remember you need to dial in your op first before you can dial in a strain (IMHO). Once the op is dialed in you can tweek it here and there to optimize. Keep a journal on nute schedule and strength for each strain.

i agree with the 3-4lbs per lamp i called bullshit but thats just wat jackmayoffer was saying. anyways ya im rethinikin shit about doin a basic setup to start and keep my budget low. the more dispenseries and experianced vendors i talk to the more im convinced that droppin that much rite away mite not be neccessary even at a hookup price. im thinkin bout starting conservative with the 4 600w lamps aircooled and use a large ACunit with a c02 tank in soilless mix pots and maybe a scrog and FIM grow to start with a strain feel it out and gett more experiance. im not sure if im just a natural either but im gonna take everything slow and steady til i get ahead.
