MAX QTY. and QUALITY w/ 1000w HPS

What is the OPTIMAL number of plants for ONE 1000w HPS? Basically what's the largest NUMBER of plants I should have for a 1000w HPS that will produce MAXIMUM yield and at the same time will NOT take away from the quality? (using HYDROPONICS / DRIP/FLOOD)

on a 4x4 table you could fit about 40 6" square pots. you would need to flower at about 8"-10" high for sea of green, or you could do a scrog with fewer plants and veg longer its all up to you.

depends on your strain. and what the size of your grow room is

i got a DR300 (9' 10" W x 9' 10" L x 6' 7" H) grow tent with 2 1000w Hps over 20 plants. I know i have room for more but how many is my question. My next setup is going to be a size of half of this one. (4' 11" W x 9' 10" L x 6' 7") for the DR300W with (2) 1000w hps lites. what is the greatest number i can do in this setup yet still with optimal quality? hydro in rockwool starting with grandaddy kush clones.
