Max yield! +rep for help

Me and my buddy are almost done with the construction of our new veg and flower rooms. We will have 6 in veg and 6 in flower so we stay legal. The flower room will be 9' by 9'. What do you guys think would be better for overall yield, dual 600watt or a 1000watt on a light mover? I know there are a lot of other variables that will effect yield but I'm just curious. Plus rep for help. Thank you!

first of all how much weight do you want and will you be going hydro?

and i would avoid lightmovers, and hang bulbs vert.

What's the problem with the mover? And why vert hanging? wont a 1000w penetrate just fine into the canopy?

In a 9 x 9? are you nuts?

I'd set up screens with 1000 watters overhead, 3' x 4' with 2 plants to each. You can rotate them and keep up a never ending harvest. you could literally be harvesting every other week with the right strain.

While that only takes up 36' out of 81, it leaves plenty of room to waork around the scrogs and store nutes and stuff. If I wasn't limited to 6 mature plants, I'd do it totally different.

I was planning a 3x600w hps in a 4' x 8' room...you should easily squeeze 3 600w in there.

And before you worry about yield you should worry about getting through a harvest first, IMO.

2 600w would be best but no light mover as in my experience they tend to get in the way and could stop moving burning your plants. To get max yield proper veg growth to get a nice size plant, grow medium with enough room for the roots to expand, and space for the plant to expand during veg. But the most important is the set up, proper ventilation, and air circulation will also help prevent powder mildew, bud rot, humidity, heat and pest.

this is my opion im a huge fuckin person and everthing i do is huge so 9x9 is 2 1000w properly vented or 4 600w properly vented and youll see some growth and when you here people talking about popcorn buds youll be thinkin why dont we get popcorn buds andit will be because you went with 2 1000 watter nuthin better, i have 4 growzilla in my 12x12 with 8000w 4000w mh and 4000hps last 4 of the 12 they get it all thightest buds in the south temp control and lamp ventalation in a critical. go big.

look it hurts up front but afte the 3rd turn its money in the bank but your gonna wanna pefect Scrg for sure with 6 plant limit blue dream would be my first six and romberry my second excellent yeilders multible tops likr 12 if fim right.

600w HPS is barely good enough for a 4' by 4' grow space (16 sq ft)

IF you are planning to use a 9' by 9' grow space (81 sq ft) that is almost five 4' x 4' grow area's.

IMO, either 3 to 4 600w HPS or dual 1000 hps plus maybe even supplemental lighting to cover the corners...

Noway you should go 4x1000 if you can ventilate properly keep the temps down 4 is pefect for that room I ran 4 in a room that size for years and got my 2+lbs per light everytime

would cover better than 1000 its overall more efficient. Do you not read books ask jorge cervantes duh.
"ask jorge cervaties duh" lol as if its golden jus becuase he says it?? lol ive read his book didnt think it was that great kinda outdated too.....

Ya dudes right 9x9 is way to big of an area for a 1000w light or even 2 600w lights..... also what up with that guy above saying hang your bulbs vertical? lol um that sounds like a terrible idea why would anyone do that?? everyone knows vertical is about the least effiecent way to hang a bulb.... you should use some panda film and quarden off a smaller area within the 9x9 grow space or you should bet more lights to cover the big area .....

I'd go with dual 600w for more coverage and higher wattage. Plus I'd feed them babies molasses, sounds silly, but it packs some extra size and more dense buds.

Seems there's a lot of opinions floating.......If those two options ARE the ONLY choices....then I would do 2 x 600w.....but I would definitely add 2 more 600w when possible.
