Maxi Gom autoflower first grow

Hello everyone! I germinated 4 maxi gom and 1 quick one freebie and they all sprouted 17 days ago:weed:
This is my first grow and any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated.

I'm using a 600w mh bulb. They are growing indoors in a grow tent in 3 gallon pots in soil and there's a humidifier and oscillating fan blowing on them.

Im wondering if they are too small for being 2 and a half weeks old

I have 5 gallon pots. Should I transplant them or leave them in the 3 gallons? I know a lot of people say you shouldn't transplant autos, but I want them to get as big as possible (obviously:mrgreen:)

I'm thinking of starting 1/4 strength nutes next time I water them. Is that too early?

Transplanting will most likely stunt them, they look pretty good for 2 1/2 weeks. What soil are you using? I don't think you need nutes yet....If the leaves get lighter colored then give nutes. Autos can be sensitive to nutes, might want to wait a week or so probably, then like 1/4 to 1/5 strength nutes and see how the plant responds.

Autos right? Nah those don't look too bad for 17 days. At the 30ish day mark they will explode and then flower. Every auto i have grown usually fowers 28-35 days. HPS bulb will keep your temps a little lower than MH also for a future tip if temps get too warm. Keep the enviorment stable and you're good.

From my experience i fed veg nutes only 1 time then usually 2 bloom feeds. Like others said some are so sensitive that any amount pisses them off. I had a purple express have hard N tox all 70 days before. leeching/plain water feeds didn't fix it. was just real picky

Okay I think I'll just keep em in the 3 gal then. I'm really glad you mentioned that since I was planning on transplanting them today or tomorrow. I'm using roots organics green lite soil. And alright I'll wait a little longer before feeding them nutes. I made the stupid mistake of giving them nutes after 1 week and got yellow spots on some of the leaves, but they seem to have recovered. I've actually read somewhere that this strain is very forgiving when it comes to nutes and likes them a lot so maybe that's why I ended up not killing them lol

Yep autos. That's so reassuring to hear :D I was afraid they would only double in size and I'd end up with like a 1/4oz. And oh that's good to know about the hps being cooler since I'll be switching as soon as they start to flower. The temps have been getting to around 90 at the hottest which worries me.

Also my rh is pretty low with the light on, 20% even with a humidifier running on high. I'm running an 20/4 light schedule and the humidity gets up to the 60s with the lights off, but I'm sure that's not gunna make up for all the dryness while lights are on. I thought about misting them throughout the day, but when I do most them they look 90% dry after 30 min, problably from the fan blowing on them, so I don't know if it's even worth it. Plus I don't wanna risk mold.

it's hard not to since this is so exciting, but the last thing I wanna do is hurt or stunt them so I'll try to leave them be and let them do their thing

IMG_0557.JPG Day 18. Waited a little too long to water I think. Just gave them a big drink. Humidity is still low even with two humidifiers running on high
