Maximizing a 4' x 2' x 2.5' space

I'll start with thanks to all who responded to my previous post. A different space has become available, so I'm posting again.

We now have a 4' (w) x 2' (d) x 2.5' (H) space (under the wash basin in the restroom), which we can use as a grow room.

We want to grow 50 Oz/1400 gm a year, out of this space. I already know this is going to be difficult, if not impossible. We have never done this before, and we want to give it a serious shot. We will be willing to spend about $1000 on this. This is a very hot place, I am looking at air conditioning options (currently I'm thinking about water cooled by a chiller being circulated around the fan in a copper pipe...). My friend is building his first DIY LED system for his planted fish tank, if it goes well, we might be able to save some money there.

My request: Please give me pointers on how I can approach this amount of yield from this space. This site is HUGE - vertically and horizontally, and I feel like I'm running around in circles. I'm not asking 'how to grow', I'm asking 'where to look'.

I don't think there is any fuckin way..

You're asking a lot for such a small space, your lights will hang say abt 6" or more leaving you 2ft of growth space, most plants will grow 2ft or more when flowering. I seriously doubt you'll achieve your goal....sorry.

even with sea of green, you prob wouldnt make it. 2-3 months to bud, that means you will only get to harvest 4-6 times. you would have to pull 10 oz a grow..

Its not like I have to grow the said amount. I would like to. Maybe its time for me to cut down on my weed consumption... .

Perhaps I can do half as much? Maybe a bunch of lowriders? In a 6 pot hydroponics rig? Or three hempy buckets with autoflowering low growing plants?

The weed I can score here is completely dubious, and usually not sufficiently potent or consistent. I am told by people who have smoked both here and abroad, that anything one can grow from a known strain will be way better and safer than what we get here.

I take it then that you live in an appartment and don't have the room to grow as much as you like, sorry to bust your bubble, hope you find a way out of your predicament.

Im sorry buddy but its impossible.

Assuming you could do 4 grows per year (thats really pushing it) then you would need to get 350g per grow.

350g in a .7 square meter box with no height is impossible. You would have to pull the equivalent of 500g per square meter.

I think your best bet is to get autos and cram them in. Aim for 5 crops per year.

yea I would also say impossible .. allmost as impossible as it is to "guide" you to the "right" place to look .. tho I would say a nice big fild out at the contry side



tho with 1000$ and some space .. you could go a long way ..

and who knows ... maybe it is strong enough to keep you happy even if you haverst half ..
(I know that a normal pot/hamp plant when made in to hash give a 10Th of what you startet out with .. etc. 100grams of pot give roughly 10G of hash .. but with medical seeds/plants it is atlest twise the ammount you get .. so a lot strong .. belive THC is around 15-25% in most strains .. normal pot is maybe 5-10% .. atlest I know when I smoke normal pot I am looking for the buzz .. I think I get it as my need to smoke go away .. but nothing more .. when I smoke skunk/medical I get as stoned as when I smoke hash ..






I would still say a 4 foot T5VHO fixtur .. considering you have the money to get the VHO type and considering you have high temps.

and grow autos in some kind of hydro as you aslo talkd about .. for fast haversting and biggest yild ..

reccon you could keep 4 autos in ther ..

with a good hydro system you might be able to pull two OZ per plant evry seccon month (=8oz =48 oz a year .. pretty close to 1400G actualy)

but I dont think you will do this on your fist try ..

but agin .. with 1000$ you can go a long way .. etc. best light .. best bulbs .. best grow system .. good seeds .. pots and nutriens aso .. all make a diffrent ..

but I guess in the end it is just a mather of trying it and see if it is wort the effort ..

No real exp with anything this small but what about.. 4' 8bulb t5, 12-12 from seed sog? That's the only way I see that ull get any weight @ all over the year in that huge space. Goodluck
