maximizing yields

Hey dudes I am growing two white widow plants and i'm hoping to get 3-4 ounces on each plant. I will be using a 400 watt conversion bulb and I also have sufficient co2 and nutrients does anyone thinks this is possible and do you have any hints or tips

it is possible to get 4oz a plant. It just depends on how many of those plants can you put and manage under your 400 watt. GL!

just pay attention to them and check them daily thats the best advice I can give.

u could probably top it so u get two colas instead of one

id impliment a growing method such as screeing ....veg em and train em veg em and train em....grow 2 monster plants...

you pretty much just gotta do everything right to maximize yeilds. my first grow i just completed i had 3 white widow females under 2 600s(i got fucked on my seeds). anyways i came out with 11 ounces for the three girls. 2 were topped. i think they all put out about the same amount but the untopped girl had a HUGE top cola, it weighs close to 3/4 of an ounce(dried,cured). keep in mind i grew hydroponically and organically. no c02 but i have it now during this grow. like has been said. everyday checkup. you must pay vigilent attention to them to maximize yeilds. you have to learn how to talk with your plants. they will tell you what they need. molasses has been said to help add on weight to buds. anyways just make sure you get your ducks in a line and you will come out with a great harvest. remember only skill and experience can maximize yeilds.

No way, not with a 400... The only way to get 6-8 oz's would be to grow 8 plants sog. The 400 will not penetrate the canopy enough to develop the lower buds..best case with 2 big plants would be to top them and tie them down and extend there lower branches into all usable light...That is the short of it....

I am growing them in a crawl space I built a rom that is 5ft by 5ft and 5.5 ft tall will the 400 watts be enough or do you suggest a 600 watt conversion bulb

i personally would go with a 600 and a hydroponic scrog in that area.

600hps all the way...and major scroging!

what is scrogging

only scrog if u can get clones or fem seeds. if not, trying to pluck males out of the screen 1-2 weeks into flowering SUCKS!

screen of green. your plants grow horizontally into a screen instead of vertically. thus producing a thick canopy at an even level, thus providing better efficency of light.

Nice looking pics there, so if I were growing in a small area as well would you suggest throwing a wire frame with plastic coating over the pot and possibly use paperclips to hold the stalk down so it does not grow too large?

its all in the scrog man. do some checks on youtube and search scrog. amazing results. this is my first go at it and i use zip ties to hold the tops down. u can see in the close up pic where i topped them b4 they hit the screen. as soon as the tops are tall enough above the screen i bend them over to the next hole and try to weave the,. if u cant weave just zip tie or twisty tie. i wouldnt use paper clips, to pointy and sharp. plastic zip ties or plastic twisty ties. and depending on variety depends on how high the screen should be above the pot. its a pretty complicated method.
