Maybe Sulfur problems and Calc also Mag

Hi,

i use BioBizz Soil and Advanced hydroponics as fertilizer. I use the half dose of this Schedule for young plants and the normal dose for older plants. EC younger plants 0,8-0,9 without Epsom (with 1,1), EC the bigger one 1,1-1,2 EC with normal dose, also without Epsom (with 1,5-1,6). PH always about 6,5-6,6

I think i make a mistake, cause i buy some cuttings, repot it, and use normal dose Advanced with Epsom and Cal on the new 4 younger plants.
I water the young plants (i mean the 4 plants around the big one, in the middle-look photo) one time with too much fertilizer (normal dose, at the begin) and add always every watering Cal and Epsom, after one week (i think) the shows ,in my opinion, Calz def, cause i add too much fertilizer also too much Epsom.

Also, i dont recognize, that the big one in the middle, the leafs turn yellow or lemonyellow and is very lighter above then below. For a week ago i put the HansPanel higher and recognize the failure. Then i use my books and figured out, cause text and photos, it can be a Sulfur def.

Since 2 watering i only use a quarter or half dose for the younger one and dont take the extra Cal and Epsom in it, since i do that, the plants grows again and dont showing no more brown points on the leafs. (but the leafs with cal def dont gone)
Also since 2 watering i use the half dose for the big one and put some extra Epsom, without Cal, and put the PH down to 6.2. (Extra Epsom, cause i read at a book when you have S def you should put the PH down to 5.5-6.0, but i dont know what they mean Soil or Hydro, and also use some Epsom. Since i use that, also the plant grows again but the lemonyellow leafs turns only a very, very little bit greener. (in the middle of the plant not above) EC with half dose 0,8-0,9 with Epsom for the big one EC 1,6-1,8

Maybe someone have experience with that and can/would help me? Is this correct what iam doing or iam so wrong? How long will need it to see a improvement?

Picture 37 you see a other def cause the leaf are so bent. Dont know why, maybe a bit overwatering but i dry them out and no effect to the leafs.
38 you see the Calc def
39 you see a deep red stem of a sprout (plant at the back, left side)
40 the stem of the big one
41 the plant at the front, left side, the red stem is gone. Below you see a little red but it was until above
42 a Neem-"tree" :) maybe in some time i dont must use bluetape anymore
43 The big one with, in my opinion, S def.

If you're using a complete fertilizer line (you say Gen. Hydro, is that the Flora 3-part?), it is almost certain to be guaranteed not to be an actual deficiency. And if you're using the three part, you shouldn't need the epsom salts. I'd drop them.

I'm not 100% on this, but while you may have started with Soil, you're now growing hydroponically, which may require a rethink of your pH target.

thx for answer.

Yes i use a complete fertilizer but from Advanced Hydroponics not from General H. I use the Schedule on the flask not on there site, but its very similar. For soil you must use the half dose, marked on the bottle.

could have beeen from using the epsom salt and the advanced nutrients togather. could have caused a calcium lockout.but from the pictures it looks like nitrogen deficiency but like we all know thats a pretty common misconception, tons of defs look like it

Thx for help.

I dont think its nitrogen, cause nitrogen dont starts at the top, nitrogen starts below. And below i dont have any def or overdosed appearance. I think, it can be only a def which starts at the top. When i look at Cervantes Poster i would decide Zinc or S def?

No one else, have experience or is a gardener?

A new Info i forgot, i hope it helps. Yesterday I use Canna Flush, maybe i can restart the plant. Next time i give only ph regulated water. The third time watering i start again with fertilizer (the half dose) and then i use the normal dose again (with no extra Cal but maybe with a bit Epsom)

Sounds good, but forget epsom salts, they are not necessary if you're using a full nutrient line, meaning specifically, a part A and B system, or a Micro, Grow, Bloom system. No additives.

If in bloom, after you've been following the schedule, and you start seeing a deficiency in Ca. or Mg, I would add a CalMag supplement. If just Mg, epsom salts are an acceptable solution, if not short lived.

Update: After Canna Flush, one time, only PH regulated, water and now i give the first time the half dose of the Advanced Hydroponics. I hope someone have some advice for me.

The first photos i made at the 28 of July and the last 3 Photos are from today.

sorry i use the same text in a other thread of me, cause i confounded the thread

oh jeez
first off its new leaves effected
so rule out n the plant would transfer n from lower to upper leaves
sooooo we know its something that's not moble within the plants

honestly its an easy id and fix
iron it is probably there but cant be taken up and used
watch for too much phosphorus
make sure you soil can breath(no over watering)
double check ph if you say its 6.6 bring it down to 6.0 at most
it will fix itself if you do that
Hi again and thx for help,

i try this what you recommend. I let the N gone for one time and now the leafs below start to transfer the N to above. (look pictures) I watch to the phosphorus and normaly i never add more phosphorus then the schedule say. At the moment i give, so and so, the half dose. At the begin i gave the half dose, then sometimes the half from the half dose. Only one time i gave 20 % more then the schedule says, (for 4-5 weeks ago) but I dont think that was the problem.

I cant say if the soil can breath, how i can test this?? I only can say the other 4 plants with the same pot and soil have no problems with that, and guy i know how new leaves looking, thats not my first grow or my first plant. But my lighter leafs effect has nothing to do with new leafs effect.
I bring the last time the PH down to 6 but i dont know if it was good or bad to my plant.

Question is for me: should I leave for a longer period the pH at 6?
