I know a large group of Prop 215 growers who would be more than delighted to network with other growers.

I guess being social isn't your forte.
prop 215 is ca only, yes I would be one of them, and yes I would like to meet other 215 growers, fuck the convention, lets start a 215 convention. We cant all rollitup together, thats nonsence. Theres only 11 other legal states so what about all those illegal growers? Highly doubt this could happen. But a RIU CA CONVENTION, That could work.

A 215 convention would be wonderful, though would be a hot target for the DEA. Would have to be held at a very random time, which would likely result in poor attendance. Poor attendance means nobody earns money, and also means no convention.

We need to find a means of compromise with the DEA soon, because the raids, bullshit arrests, theft of medicine is getting out of control. I don't think that cannabis should be 100% legal, but patients should be able to grow/consume/carry their own, and the federal government should respect the wishes of the voters of California.

I think limited jurisdictional rights should be imposed on the DEA. Where the local police departments can control investigations on medical cannabis clinics as the local police departments see fit.

The LAPD has been very good in respecting the rights of Californian patients, but they simply don't have the jurisdictional power to protect us from the federal government.

Look, my take on the police is this. They are doing their jobs, and arrest/ticket people who illegally consume/grow/distribute cannabis. However, they respect of the rights of patients who use/grow/distribute(to collectives). I am fine with how they run things, and I support their willingness to respect the laws of California, and it's voters.

Just because I grow pot, doesn't mean I am a criminal. I'm a patient. I don't have to worry about the local police, they respect my rights.

I am a law abiding citizen, that's all I am. :)
