get rid of dilaudid and oxycontin. my doctors husband who now is on federal probation used to smoke marijuana for his slipped disc now has to take oxycontin thanks to the federal government. how many other patients are going to endure similar fates due to prohibition?

we deff still need morphine (dilaudid) and oxycodone for pain management. weed may be good for pain but it cant relieve severe pain caused by a traumatic injury or surgery. i think by legalizing MJ it would reduce a significant portion of alcohol related problems. just think of not only the prescriptions avoided but the health related problems in general due to reduced alcohol consumption saving some from being full blown alcoholics. They would be potheads instead.

I hear that.

There are quite a few that we could really do without. Like Zonegram. That crap almost killed me. I can name about 30 of them that made me sicker than I already was. Now I take less meds and just use the cannabis.

1. Ambien
2. Zoloft
3. Hydrocodone (typically given out for minor to moderate pain)
4. Acetominophen (Ibuprofen) in many cases
