Mediums

First of all I'm new on growing and I wanted to ask a question. I have read Widow Makers guide but I don't understand 1 thing about the mediums. If I choose to use rock wool I have to put in the seed in rock wool cube and then put it in soil or what? I'm confused and hope someone can answer my questionn.

your thinking too hard haha i'm going to guess and say your using soil because its the easiest to learn on. if thats the case then just put them straight in the soil. or after you germinate with the paper towel method then throw them in the ground

Germ your seed and put em in the rockwool. Then into soil rockwool aswell.
I use something called PEAT PELLETS/PUCKS. 20 for 5 quid from BNQ.

Thanks for the quick replies! I think that the soil method is easier maybe I would use a rock wool method, but i don't quite understand it. And now I have another question. When I put the seeds in plastic cups do I have to remove them later from cups and plant them in another place, or they will be growing there for the rest of the time?
