Megacrop for Autos

Getting ready to start my new ladies and I have a bag of megacrop. This is only my second grow so I'm looking for advice on how much to use for my auto flowers and when. I will be growing in FFOF. I'd like to run a simple, one-part nute grow. If you have other suggestions for one part grows and how much, please let me know.

My 2¢ ~

FOX FARMS Ocean Forest can feed an auto flower by itself ( no additional feeding ) for about 4-5 weeks growth. It is buffered right out of the bag and can run on simple TAP water. It is very nute dense and can be a little “ hot “ on some strains and seedlings.

But , if you allow plant to acclimate to it on its own ( without adding unnecessary things ) plants will be fine.
There are a couple of things you can do to keep a simple feed for an autoflower. Remember autos will run around 100 days ( give or take ).
They do not need sophisticated feed schedules or “ multi-bottle feeds “. That soil will and can carry the feeding upfront - with nothing else.

I read through your FFOF post. Awesome stuff. Just to clarify, add more perlite first and then I can run the entire grow by just top dressing from time to time?

Yes, megacrop one part works. I feed on the light side till they tell me. You should be good topdressing with 4-4-4 or 3-9-4 Dr earth makes. If you were peat based I'd say no higher than 3.5-4 grams per gallon with MC for autos. Photos can handle the prescribed dosages.

Quick question: How much perlite do you add to FFOF?

Sorry for the stupid question.
Are you saying you could use both the MC together with the Dr.Earth?
Just trying to plan my second attempt and have leftover gaia green both 444 and bloom, as well as a freebie of MC,
Going to use in promix hp.... Combining ferts is ok?

Yes you can, mix the 4-4-4 with promix before planting. If you plan on topdressing with bloom then MC would only be used as a rescue in case of a lack. I would just go with the dry and leave MC out unless you needed a boost.

I would truly advise you to listen and look up @Budzbuddha posts. I ran autos for the 1st time. Always been a photo grower. These Mephisto's delivered 18.35 oz in less than 80 days. That's sprout to harvest.
