*MG SOIL!!! Flush out plants? +rep*

miracle grow is burning my plants..... if i flush then will it get all the nutes out the soil???? please reply i beg you pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

so flushing will just release more fert, how old is she mg soil is good but its not good for young plants and you MUST watch your ph very carefully

no generally not if it is pre fert'd.

flushing will only release more.


my honest opinion is transplant into something less rich in ferts.


did you add any perlite or dolomite lime when you used the MG?

Are you feeding just water or are you also using nutes?

Man you have quite a problem...the more water the more the chemicals are released..i read that one guy had to cut the pots off his plants and slowly rinse the dirt from his roots...just got to be super careful....not sure if you could ever flush all the nutrients out of it..good luck...

i used the MG 6 month release soil and at month 3 i was getting very bad burns so i flushed HEAVY and shes fine now. do it soon or else.

There is a thread test with mg soil compared to ff soil lets see the results before calling it crappy.I ve seen alot of good grows with mg soil.

u live in the uk then?? because want to be able to get the soil in the uk obviously, and how hard is it to repot???? sounds fucking deadly

I am sub'd to the test but I dont see many people saying that Ocean forest or any Fox Farm soil is crappy, just Miracle Grow...but to each their own, as the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water.....

I use my left over Fox Farm soil for tomatoes and when I run out I'll usually just go buy MG because it's cheap and you can get it every where. This season I actually compared and the MG tomato plants flowered and fruited quicker than the Fox Farm tomatoes. More often, too.. But, the FF plants grew larger fruit that was of higher quality. Fewer seeds and less membrane(that slimy stuff around the seeds), lots of sweet flavorful meat. The MG tomatoes had larger seed cavities and a bit more seeds, much less "meat" and much more pulpy membrane. They were very similar to the quality you would find at a grocery chain.. They didn't taste as robust and sweet either. This is my FF/MG comparison.
