MH heat question

I'm not so happy with the veg progress using a CFL, so I'm considering switching to MH.

My space is 50*80*190 cm^3, temps are 71-75f/(will get cooler soon probably), using a ~425cfm fan+filter, and the MH is 250w, under those condition, is the heat managable?

BTW, the strain is sativa dominant.

yeah you should be fine...should have plenty of ventilation with that fan and that light combo

My ambient temps are around 75-80 and I'm running a 250 Mh for veg. Under the light right at the canopy its between 80-86 a little hot but thats without a good exhaust fan and this is an older light I'm using that has the ballast attached to it and its not air cooled. Plus I run cfl's for side lighting so thats increaing the heat quite a bit too. So even if your light is like mine I think you will be fine, if its air cooled there's no question you could even go bigger. Just Remember to start pretty far away and slowly move the light down because there POWERFUL!

You can go with a T5 setup with veg lights. That would be much lower heat and gets the job done with less wattage.

if u are at 71 -75 u are good with a 250 w mh u are golden
