MH/HPS lighting turns on the off

I have a hydroplanet ballast. Had it for about 2years ish.. just plugged it in the other day after not using it for 6months..now at start up the bulb lights up but within seconds it shuts off and repeats. Bulbs seems to be in good shape. Any Ideas??

If you've got no spare or secondary bulbs, take the unit to a hydro shop and ask them to test it with a spare bulb.

Replace the ballast or bulb as necessary.
