Microscope pictures, mold, trichomes or eggs?

Anyone recognize this under a scope?

when do tricomes begin to develop. I am still under a 16/8 light schedule about 3 weeks into veg.

picture #1 —i believe is salt build up.

picture #2 — what I was viewing under the microscope.

Picture #3 — are these premature tricomes or eggs? I don’t see anything physically moving around so I don’t think they are eggs.

picture #4 and 5 — piece of the plant I just topped. Are these hairs normal?!

educate me :)

There are always trichomes we just mainly see and focus on the development of bigger ones that contain thc, these are another type all over the surface.

I think you are correct! If you're wondering if it's mold it doesn't appear to be, and if it's crunchy and feels like salt it definitely is salt.

Trichomes! Almost certainly.

Yep totally normal, those are another type of trichome! If you've ever felt the fuzz on a tomato plant it's that same thing.

Great pictures by the way I absolutely love them! I'm limited in microscopy experience but I've certainly done it for fun a few times and those are well taken.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

I figured it was a trichome but always read it that this occurred during flowering only.
just based on looking at them i figured they were just a non - thc trichome as these are regular non-femenized seeds so they could be either male or female. Should know in a couple more weeks.

I could sit for hours with my eye on the lens looking at these, its so euphoric.
Anyone have any good video links on microscopic cannabis biology?!

Honestly i just put my iphone up the the lens and with patience i was able to get an okay focus.
they do look better on the phone then uploaded onto here so overall not to bad.
I think my scope is from 60x to 120x. I would love to see all the way to the open and close stomata!
