my 40x jewlers loupe broke today terrible two problems lol. So I would like to invest in something that takes pics and has a stronger magnification then 40x, I did a Google search that came up with things ranging from 40-500$ I'm looking for some peoples personal experences with there scope /cam. I'm not cheap but I'm not rich either looking for a quility piece that clearly shows thichromes . Thank you all

I have one of those USB scopes but I ended up always going back to my old RadioShack $12 scope. I could see what I need to see, and I wondered why I thought I needed to take pictures.

I agree, my 20x/40x loupe is just quicker and easier to use with no hassle and does the job....the USB microscope is good for taking pic's but as you say, who needs pic's of trichromes
