Mid flower, burn or deficiency?

Hello. Ive done some grows in the past and Im always overfeeding so decided that this time around Im doing the least I can get away with as a learning experience.

Im growing in hempy buckets with 80% perlite/vermi. Using maxibloom and during stretch I worked up to 1/2 the max dosage which is like 1 teaspoon in a gallon. Everything looked fine.

When I water I make sure to fill up the hempy with ph water to the point I get runoff then use the nutrient solution to flush, the runoff is 1:1 so plenty more than 30%. Effectivly losing some strenght I guess? I water when its dry to get wet/dry cycle,

Anyway after stretch I got what I think is burned tips? Ive backed off abit on nutes since then, still some light tips on bud leafs, slight canoing and abrasive/rough feeling leafs.

But, looking at the whole plant I see some lighter shade of green, tiny bit of yellow?

What is going on here, mixed signals for me? It looks mid flowering at best so not sure how to move forward.

Thanks.

Some burn but not bad. The mild yellowing looks like they are over the burn and could handle a bit more nutes.

The rough feeling leaves are what they get like with toxic salts buildup and when it's bad they start to go all brown/yellow all over the surface. When they yellow out from lack of nutes they get all limp and soft.

Should be OK if you don't feed too much from now to harvest. Less N and more K, S and Mg to push the resin and help fatten up the buds. no more P if you can help it.

Ok thanks!

Is not normal to not feed every water in hempys or in general?

I'm not familiar with hempy growing and mostly grow in ProMix HP which is a soilless mix mostly peat moss and has no nutes. Generally I do the water - feed - water - feed thing using AN 3-part at half strength with extra Bloom and some Big Bud when flipping to flower. If I see a little yellowing then I may feed twice in a row or just boost one feed 50% to give them a bit more.

In your first post you say you soak the hempy in pH water then run your water with nutes thru for more than 30% runoff. That sounds strange to me as I thought you just kept the hempy wet with nutrient water all the time.

I do know that regardless of grow method pot plants feed the heaviest during the stretch then the feed level drops off and they need less N and P. Some yellowing of lower leaves the last 3 weeks or so of flower lets you know it is stealing N from the lower leaves so levels are good as too much N retards flowering.

They don't look bad so should finish up fine.

Have you tested your water for ppm as I assume you're using tap water? Hard water contains a lot of mineral salts that can add to the load that causes burn and salts buildup in your plants so I always use RO or distilled water myself. Our tap water comes from a dugout on my property and is 400+ppm and pH 8+ so crap for plants.
