might be a stupid question about water

ive spent quite a few if not a lot of time scrolling the forum to be ready for my first grow since then i still have a few thing to look into but nothing serious.Then last night i found some dstuff about thap water and now im starting to be a bit wooried. I know about the ph and pp mstuff but still i was wondering if a brita or the 20litre they sell at the grocery would be good and also what the best way to lower the ppm in wate.Ty for your time

I did the same reading, Brita does not signifantly reduce the ppm of water.

I got a ZeroWater a few weeks ago, does what it says it does. But I have no idea how long it will last (there's been some bad reviews).

Check the ppm of your tap water, you might not need to filter it.

You can get a ppm meter on ebay for about $15.

I run organic soil and use tap water. My ppm is 160.

I suggest getting a better ppm meter than a 15 dollar eBay one they suck by a nice one and have it for awhile specially if ur going to be using it a lot

I completely disagree - I have a 20 dollar HM Digital Pen and it has given me consistent results when tested against water sources of known TDS. If you are worried about losing calibration buy some cheap ass calibration solution or make some yourself using salt and distilled water.

My cheap hm works great only had t call calibrate maybe 5times in 3 yrs, still right on. Spend some cash on a ph pen, those cheap ones suck, but for ppm the cheap ones work great.

I like my blue labs all in one and have a Ph pen of there's also they work great and u guys can do what u wnt its just an opinion
