Was that in the directions for a specific medium? That's the usual coco ph range. Soil is a little higher...maybe 6.5...

Mills directions just say to ph after adding nutrients to water. No specific medium is mentioned, but on the mills website they sell primarily Coco medium
No worries Ldizzle. It may be coco specific nutrients. You can use most any nutrient to feed coco or soil. Even hydro nutrients...but not necessarily the other way around.
