Mimi split

I have an 8x10 tent in a 10x13 room in the basement. Divider splits the tent space into 2 areas. 4x8 2000 watt HPS flower, and divider split with 8x6 area for 1000w MH veg. NOTE: All ebb n flow buckets, extra veg space is for control buckets etc. What size ductless system would you suggest? I want to use the best, Mitsubishi? I think I only need a single zone system?24k unit? My space is in the basement with propagation area in second room. I was hoping mount the outside unit inside my garage, or is that a horrible idea? I live in the midwest where summer gets hot and humid and winter gets butt ass cold. Definitely appreciate your experience and suggestions.

Confused... 3kW total? all breathing on the same lung room that you intend to cool with the mini?

The worst.

To figure your own AC size: Take 3.412 times the number of watts going into the space (all the watts, lights, dehu, pumps, all of it.) That will give you the BTU/hr that you need to cool the electrical loads. If there are other heat sources like a CO2 generator or home appliances, solar (J manual calcs probably minimized in a basement) then you need to account for those as well.

Get a mini that has a low ambient operation spec that you can live with. I have seen some Mitsubishi that will cool when it's -21f outside.

Make sure it will auto restart after outage.

You may also wanna look into a wifi controller for the AC.

You can put your outdoor unit inside your garage, just be aware that in the summer it will be very hot in that garage and in the winter the condenser will condensate, so you need to put it in a drain pan and add a drain and be sure the drain system doesn't freeze. It's hard to pull off but doable, I would just put it outside. I would think though when it gets cold out... you could use outdoor air for cooling, and shut the A/c Off. Is it cause you run co2?

If you can figure that out it may be doable to put the condenser in the garage.
