Miracle Grow Organic = fungus gnats, nute burn and...?

Here is my setup taken from my first post:

The room is about 4'x4'x7'. I am using a 400w galaxy digital ballast with supersun2 shade with a Plain MH bulb. I have an exhaust fan hooked up to the shade and another entry vent that is positioned behind my oscillating fan. I started with feminized seeds purchased at attitude (3 northern soul, 3 white widow) planted directly in dirt (miracle grow organic..I know I know). The temps are 81-82 during the light and 71-72 when off. The humidity is always around 40-50%. The ph of the dirt is at 7 and I run my water through a Brita filter and then let it sit out for a few days before using.

Here is my problems:

I have been fighting with fungus gnats for a while now. I've used sticky traps, mosquito dunks and finally today I put an inch of play sand on top. Hopefully this will kill em all :)

I also tried to mix in a diluted Nova Bloom during the first week of flowering and that is when this burned look started. I since have watered twice with just water, but it still seems to be burning? One of the plants is also yellowing from the outer part of the leaves in real bad. They have been flowering for 4 weeks now but at the rate the leaves are shriveling up, there won't be any left long before they are done. This is my first grow so I am learning its better to have control on all conditions and not leave the nutrients up the the miracle grow organic. Any advice on saving this grow from disaster? if it gets real bad can i harvest them early? Thanks

What you have here is:

1. K def. Seriously, that is one of the worst K deficiencies I've seen. That nova bloom may just not have been strong enough and you actually thought you burned her and stoped giving her the necessary K. OR... your pH may be off... 7 is pretty much in the gray zone, since K starts to get locked out at a pH of over 7.

2. Mg def. Not that serious, it's still in stage 2. Get some molasses, add 2 tbs/gal every watering.
