Misting your plants with water?

OK, i know i read it somewhere on this site about Misting your plants with a spray bottle.
Does this help? and if so, just plain water or add sugar or whats the deal on this?

Foliar feed with spray bottles can be very beneficial, alot of people use seaweed extract and water its a different way to feed you plants nutrients. You can also just spray with water thats ok as well dont know bout the sugar though mate. I use Advanced Nutrients VHO, Grandma' Engy's Seaweed Extract, and Wet Betty for my spray, it works wonders. If anything though get some Seaweed Extract it'll help produce nice lush leaves and what not if you choose to spray your plants. You can get some at Walmart for like 10 bucks.

i do it occasionally just because its natural for plants to get rain lol, but theres a tea u can spray on them that is ment to be good, they name escapes me tho
