Misting

I have heard of misting your buds after flowering starts. Anyone have any experience with this and how do you properly do it. Burn one for me The Ole Hippy DUGOUT:bigjoint::eyesmoke:

Misting can magnify light and burn leaf matter, so I mist at lights out and let the residual heat help dry the spray as humidity? Many a hps has been blown apart by a slight mist. Don't spray around hot light, nor ballast.

do you mist with nutes or just plain water? if you mist with nutes, how often do you recommend? do you notice an increase in yields with misting?

I mist w/plain water whenever it's been a hot day and the humidity is low. Mites hate being damp, so this is one reason I spray veg and or buds, especially the underside of the leaves. I don't spray when it's cool and damp already.

I would never mist buds. To great a chance of mold developing. Actually, I never mist at all unless I'm trying to eradicate some leaf-munching fucking beasties. Foliar feeding is supposed to be ok during veg but I never saw a need for it.

High all, DUGOUT here. Thanks for the input I had heard that misting will keep bug off of the plant but I have been adding a small amount of flora bloom 0-5-4 about a tsp full. So you are saying that I just need to mist with plain water or is this ok to add. Well Peace all and burn one for me The Ole Hippy DUGOUT
